St. Luke’s NS Student Council

Student Council Members

Each year we nominate students in the school, from 3rd to 6th, to become members of St. Luke’s NS Student Council. There are a lot of members of this Student Council each year. This is some of our members for this year.

This year we have a lot of goals, we are going to give our Class of the Week each week, we are going to fundraise, we will help during the events for Christmas, Seachtain na Gaeilge, Easter and at the end of the year. This year we are going to promote the Irish language in the school and we are participating in the Gaelbhratach scheme.

Blue Star Programme

Last year our Student Council completed the Blue Star Programme. This programme aims to introduce us to the European Union. We really enjoyed participating. We will keep getting involved and maintaining what we have already achieved. Barry Andrews, Jack Chambers and local councillors came to visit us one afternoon.
