Community Award – RCCG Kingdom Connections Church Dublin

Ms Bourke was honoured to accept a Community Award on behalf of the school from RCCG Kingdom Connections Church Dublin on Sunday, 10th May 2026.

Pastor Dare Adetuberu kindly invited Ms Bourke to attend the church service and receive the award on behalf of the school community. We are deeply honoured and proud to receive this recognition.

The congregation warmly welcomed us into the heart of their service, and it was a truly uplifting and moving experience for all involved. We are sincerely grateful to Pastor Dare Adetuberu and the members of RCCG Kingdom Connections Church Dublin for their kindness, generosity and continued support of our school community.

Congratulations to Luke McGuinness – Winner Diving Skills Series

Congratulations Luke!

We are incredibly proud of our 5th class pupil, Luke McGuinness, who recently achieved success at the Diving Skills Series while representing his club, Shamrock Diving Club.

Luke will be travelling to Sheffield in the UK this weekend to compete in the Santa Skills Diving Competition. We wish him the very best of luck as he takes on this exciting challenge.

Creative Adventures with Artist Julie – BLAST Residency

Ms. Cullinan and Ms. Dolphin’s classes recently had the wonderful opportunity to work with artist Julie through the BLAST Arts in Education Residency Programme. Over the course of four weeks, the students explored abstract art and learned about cyanotypes — a fascinating photographic printing process that dates back to 1842, developed by Sir John Herschel.

Using natural, foraged materials, the children created their own unique cyanotype prints. They thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with this sun-printing technique and embraced the creative process with enthusiasm. It was a fantastic artistic journey, and the pupils had a memorable and inspiring experience with Julie.

Carambola Taster Session

Lorraine Leahy from our hot food provider Carambola visited the school last week and met with our Student Council. She gave a short talk on nutrition and introduced some of the new meals added to the menu. It was a great opportunity for students to learn more about healthy eating and to give feedback on the meals being offered.

Soccer Winners

Well done to Conor and Yazan, 2nd class, for being part of the team that won the Killinarden Cup 2025 at the weekend. We were delighted that they visited all the classes to show their cup and medals to us. We are proud of you both, well done boys!
